A mobile phone pandemic?
Over at Netimperative my latest piece considers the likelihood of a virus that really does spread fast among mobile phones - given that there’s a slow-moving one which can infect Symbian Series 600 phones and pass itself on.
The virus is called ‘CommWarrior’, and while programming errors mean it’s not that efficient at passing itself on (through Bluetooth *and* MMS, in the latter case by raiding your address book), I think it’s pretty clear that there will be more virulent ones.
Ironic that I’ve got a cold while I write this…
